With the NHL regular season-ending soon and the Stanley Cup playoffs looming, it's going to be another year of non-playoffs for the Vancouver Canucks.
Canucks forward
Brock Boeser voiced his displeasure with the team's success or more their lack there of saying:
"We're sick of not making playoffs. This sucks coming here every year and being in this time span. There's not much else to say other than we've got to build the culture the right way and work to get better."
-Brock Boeser showing some passion about building a culture
Boeser was part of major trade rumors over the past couple of seasons with speculation that he would be heading home to play for the Minnesota Wild. But the Canucks and Wild haven't been able to get a deal done. However, with it being another disappointing year in Vancouver expect many changes to be made this off-season Boeser could be one of the first players to be moved.
Boeser's recent statement may be suggesting that he wants to be part of the solution and his play under the team's new coach Rick Tocchet demonstrates that his will is back, perhaps the winger had a change of heart. If Brock wants to be a part of the solution, is it in the team's best interest to keep him around?
