It wasn't too long ago that J.T. Miller was in the middle of every controversy and Bruce Boudreau, the Canucks' former head coach, just added to it.
Miller is known to be a highly competitive athlete that wears his heart on his sleeve, everyone can agree that his emotion sometimes gets the best of him, but it's also what makes him the player he is. Boudreau was coming out to say it clearly has to mean something in the public's eye.
Today might've been a good example of Miller's «caring», they were at the end of the practice, taking a good old bagger and Miller is actually the one that won the race. How could he be determined as someone who doesn't care?
At this point, I don't believe Miller is up for contention for captainship, though his high level of competitiveness makes him a capable leader when he turns his emotions to his advantage.
