LATEST | Canucks have shown interest in five top end forwards: Two have been identified
Jim Rutherford said it, Patrik Allvin noted it, and Rick Tocchet hoped it. The Canucks are looking to add a top-six winger forward, hopefully, one that could help Andrei Kuzmenko's scoring touch.
GOING ALL-IN?
Elliotte Friedman revealed on HNIC last night that the Canucks had already reached out to up to five potential targets, two of them being Elias Lindholm (Flames) and Jake Guentzel (Penguins):
The Canucks showed last night that they can drive the play with their depth, even against the league's strongest teams. The Maple Leafs were no match to the Canucks structure.
Adding a centerman of Lindholm's stature would allow Tocchet to keep the lotto line together. Rutherford made it clear that the team's 2024 First Round Pick would be in play, and that's a good starting if they intend on going big; it'll be interesting to see what type of offer they can put together to add a top-end producer.
