LATEST | Career milestone and NHL history for Captain Hughes
Quinn Hughes is a man on a mission, and ever since the season started, he's shown just how dominant he could be. In the game against the Blues, the Canucks' captain once again showed why he should be considered as one of, if not the best defenceman in the NHL.
ANOTHER MILESTONE FOR THE CANUCKS' RECORD MAN
When Pius Suter completed his hat trick late in the third, the Canucks captain collected a second assist in the game, which brought his career total to 300 after only 331 games making him the 8th fastest defenceman to reach this feat.
With two assists tonight, Captain Quinn becomes the 8th fastest defenceman in NHL history to 300 NHL points (331 games).
Hughes now counts 59 points after 48 games, which places him first amongst defensemen league-wide. His current pace has him finishing the season with 101 points, do you think he can keep it up and add another record to the team's history?
