LATEST | Fifteen-year-old player takes on two linesmen following scrum
A wild scene took place recently in a youth hockey game in Russia. It's unclear the age of the players involved, although they're likely 14-15 years-old, but after the whistle during a game in their league, a scrum broke out.
There was plenty of pushing and shoving between the two teams, but all hell broke loose once number 11 on the white team comes skating in and takes a kick at the leg of number 79 on the black team.
Number 79 was not happy at all with the move and skated over to fight number 11. Nothing major came of that scuffle, but as the two linesmen came in to break the two players apart, number 79 got even more frustrated.
He began throwing punches and pushing both linesmen, before eventually they were able to take him down to the ice, before the video cuts out.
It's safe to say that number 79 won't be seeing any ice time, especially in that league for a very, very long time. The officials were in there doing there job, breaking up the fight and didn't need to be subject to abuse from a player like that. There is no word from the league on any discipline, but there's no doubt that he'll be suspended for quite a while.
