LATEST | Horvat to the Islanders: new details concerning the 1st Round Pick

The Canucks have just announced a trade regarding their captain and this will certainly light up discussions for the next few days.

New details came to light regarding that trade. The Canucks acquired Anthony Beauvilier, Aatu Raty and a conditionnal 1st Round Pick in the 2023 draft.

Per Pierre Lebrun, the 2023 1st Round Draft Pick is top 12 protected, meaning if the Islanders were to have a lottery pick they would retain its right and the 1st would therefore become a 2024 1st Round Pick.
