Brock Boeser was the cause of many headlines this season due to the problems he's faced and his lack of production. The forward had reportedly asked for a trade out of Vancouver but had a change of heart during the season and ended up rescinding his trade request.
With Tocchet as the bench boss, it seemed as if Boeser had turned over a new leaf, as he was one of the most productive forward in the season's last stretch. Now, TSN Insider Pierre Lebrun confirmed that the Canucks have also made their feelings clear to other teams:

OEL, Myers, Garland, and Boeser were the main names involved in those talks, and it's good that Boeser is out since he has the most chances of having a bounce-back season that could've hurt the Nucks.
