LATEST | Patrik Allvin announces roster movement: Most likely confirms the worst for Andrei Kuzmenko's
Andrei Kuzmenko has gone through all sorts of emotions since the season started. During the Canucks' last win against the Coyotes, the Russian Winger was given the Tocchet treatment and had lesser opportunities to get on the ice as the game moved forward.
PATRIK ALLVIN ANNOUNCES ROSTER MOVEMENT
Patrik Allvin announced that the team had again recalled the forward Linus Karlsson. It would be a surprise if they had called him up only to sit in the press box, and it most likely means that he'll take Andrei Kuzmenko's spot in the lineup as the Canucks are set to take the ice against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday:
General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Linus Karlsson has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL).
Kuzmenko is playing nowhere near the standard he set for himself last year and isn't playing up to the $5.5M annual contract he's owed. Through 39 games, the winger has only managed eight goals in 19 games.
Karlsson, for his part, played four games this season with the big club and has not yet recorded a point.
