MAJOR | Absurd scene in Montreal: Another sequence suggesting referees are fixing the game
In last night's game between the Montreal Canadiens and Tampa Bay Lightning, Johnathan Kovacevic scored one of the crazier goals you will see.
In the 2nd period, just about everyone in the arena thought the play was dead, before suddenly a Johnathan Kovacevic shot from the defensive zone was in the back of Tampa's net.
In a new angle posted today, the referee certainly appears to give the Canadiens a helping hand on the play, quietly telling the goalie Montembeault to move it even while the Tampa Bay players leisurely skate to their bench.
The strange goal didn't affect the outcome at game's end, with Tampa winning 4-3.
