MAJOR | Allvin the setting the table for something big at the upcoming draft
When Jim Rutherford and Patrik Allvin called a press conference earlier this year, they announced their colors and their true intentions. While the belief was that they were looking to add to their draft selection bank, they ended up trading two high selections two acquire much-needed help on the team's blue line.
Allvin took the stage once again when the team's season was formally over and was asked whether or not it was a priority to add more draft picks for the future. The answer surely is intriguing, knowing that the potential depth of this draft could be off-setting:
''I wouldn't say a priority. We have several picks in the 3rd and 4th rounds. Mentions they could be creative to try and move up.''
The Canucks have two 3rd Rounders and three 4th Rounders, giving them more than enough trade chips, knowing that this is going to be an extremely deep draft talent-wise. Should they make it a priority to move up?
