MAJOR | Insider confirms major rumor regarding the Canucks management group
The Philadelphia Flyers recently cleaned the house and fired their GM replacing him with their former star, Daniel Briere.
The Flyers are now looking to add to their management since it appears that a member of the Canucks' staff would be on their radar.
As reported by Elliotte Friedman, the Flyers would have interviewed the Canucks' assistant GM, Emilie Castonguay for the position:
''Elliotte confirming Émilie Castonguay is on the Flyers radar. He's not sure if she has already interviewed or still has to interview but she's on their radar.''
Emilie Castonguay joined the Canucks as one of the first females to occupy an important management role in an NHL Franchise. Before joining the Canucks she was a player agent for notable up-and-coming players such as Alexis Lafreniere (Rangers), and Jakob Pelletier (Flames).
