MAJOR | Former first round selection not signing with his team to test free agency
It's just in, the Philadelphia Flyers 2018 first round pick and now Boston University alumni has chosen not to sign with the team who owned his rights and test free-agency.
Jay O'Brien, the Flyers 19th overall pick in the 2018 Draft has decided to hit free agency on July 1st. A right-handed shot centerman who registered 32 points in 39 games refused to sign with the Flyers.
5'11'' and 185 pounds centerman that will hit free agency could be a really interesting option for the Canucks who will be looking to buy on cost efficient contracts.
