MAJOR | Official Press release regarding Arturs Silovs and Connor Bedard
Arturs Silovs has developed at a pace nobody expected when they selected him late in the 2019 Amateur Draft. He performed great this year in Abbotsford where he was credited with the team's MVP. He performed even better at the Men's World Championship where he brought home the bronze medal.
The IIHF has released it's preliminary list for their male player of the year award and Arturs Silovs features on top of things beside big names in the world of hockey including Connor Bedard.
'The IIHF's Historical Committee has narrowed its list of candidates for IIHF Male Player of the Year to seven players who, in one way or another, had an outstanding season in 2022-23.
