Boeser is a Minnesota native and everybody is well aware that the Wild are looking to add to their forward group. Though it's hard for them to make a move that requires them take on more money because of the most recent cap hit they've suffered with the Zach Parise and
Ryan Suter buy-outs. The fact that they've extended young forward Matt Boldy to a $7M AAV deal kicking off next year isn't helping as well. Perhaps if the Canucks opened up on the possibility to retain part of Boeser's salary it would help to please both sides?
