MUST SEE: Heartfelt tribute from the Canucks for Gino Odjick
The Canucks freed the skate today in remembrance of the legendary Gino Odjick who proudly wore the flying skate during his time with the Canucks
The Canucks' current players all arbored Odjick's 29 during the warmup. Many Canucks alumni showed up in support of their lost teammate. Of course, the former team captain, Trevor Linden didn't miss the event.
Canucks announced earlier today that they were going to acknowledge Odjick, they also announced that they would also host a celebration of Gino's impactful journey at First Nations night on March 2nd
They then proceeded with this heartfelt tribute during which we can hear the fans screaming his name.
The Canucks have disappointed in a lot of ways over the last few weeks, but tonight they delivered for a player that marked the team's history.
