Tough news for Vasily Podkolzin who won't return after making his presence felt by sticking up for his teammate and engaging in a second period scrap with Boston's A.J. Greer.
It came seconds after Greer turned down an invite to dance with Luke Schenn, but that didn't stop him from trying to crank up the Boston faithful after fighting a 21 year old skilled player instead.
Classic Bruins' behaviour, the real stinger is that VPodz won't be back tonight as he's been ruled out to return after the scrap. This is injury to insult, as the young Russian has struggled to find his game registering only 3 assists so far this campaign.
We'll wait for an update post game to see what Vasily's status is for Tuesday in Buffalo.
