Schenn comments the team's performances at home
The Canucks once again played a disastrous game on home ice. It's becoming a clear constant this year and it's fair to say that the fans are really disappointed by the spectacle they get to see in Vancouver.
Luke Schenn stood before the media after another lackluster effort:
''Terrible. It's like guys are afraid to play in our own building or something. I mean, it's crazy. We're not even close right now at home. Teams are coming in and doing whatever they want.''
When you're trying to build a contending team, you always want to be able to rely on your home-ice advantage and so far this season the Canucks have a disastrous 5-9-1 record at home. Which places them 26th in the league for points accumulated at home.
The Canucks are definitely in need of a fix for their on-ice performance whilst at home because the fans are definitely fed up with the situation. In his post-game interview Head Coach Bruce Boudreau was quite optimistic about turning the team around. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens on Thursday when the Seattle Kraken come to visit.
