TRADE ALERT | Curtis Lazar is traded
We're now only 3 hours from the trade deadline and Patrik Allvin announced yet another move on his roster. After the Canucks' GM had already sent Bo Horvat, Luke Schenn, and Will Lockwood, he kept it going today.
The team's Twitter account confirmed that the New Jersey Devils had acquired Curtis Lazar in exchange for a 4th Round Selection in the 2024 Draft.
Lazar had signed with the Canucks as a free agent. Lazar had managed 5 points through 45 games this season. He will have accomplished a lifelong dream of playing for the team he grew up cheering for, Lazar is a BC native.
Good luck for him in his future endeavors.
