Video surfaces of Jack Eichel's interaction with a fan and its gone viral
Jack Eichel made lots of headlines since he entered the league in 2015 after he was selected second behind Connor McDavid. The Sabres ended up trading the superstar and lots of rumors directly criticized his leadership abilities and many called him a jerk.
Eichel has been quiet since the beginning of the season and has definitely not lived up to the expectations when the Golden Knights acquired him last year. After managing only 25 points in 34 outings last year, this year's production has also been quite shallow for the star forward with only 43 points in 47 games.
A video of Eichel during last night's warmup surfaced and it does not give a good look at the forward. The video shows a young fan begging Eichel for a stick and he does not even bother to smile at the fan:
In no way should Eichel feel obligated to give a fan his stick, though he should definitely take the time to acknowledge him somehow. At the end of the day, fans are the reason why he gets paid a hefty sum of money to play a game.
