NHL Under Fire for Allegations of Game Rigging During Sunday Match-Up

The NHL is facing some pretty severe allegations of tampering and rigging as their favoritism towards American markets have once again come to the surface during a matchup with the Montreal Canadiens and Florida Panthers.
As the red-hot Montreal Canadiens faced-off against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers on Sunday, it was almost too apparent and blatant the the NHL officials were favoring one team over another, and it was not the Canadiens.

This has been an ongoing narrative for years that Gary Bettman and the league itself favors American markets for the purpose that they draw more income for the "company".
Even Canadiens veteran forward Brendan Gallagher broke one of the biggest unwritten rules of hockey and called out officials for terrible calls and judgment, just two days before these allegations came to the surface on Sunday.
It's incompetence. We need someone in there who can show consistency. Let's players are asking- I mean, I don't know who's making the decision- Its players are frustrated all over the league. It seems like there's zero consistency and it needs to change. We got to get people in there who understand the game and um you know, we're not getting that right now.
The ironic aspect of all this, is that Gallagher himself was a target of one of these terrible mistakes when Panthers sniper Carter Verhaeghe stole his stick right in front of an official, and obviously, there was no call...
