Whole new lines for the Nucks
The Canucks were skating this morning ahead of their matchup against the Kraken tonight.
After having to take a few days off, everything points to the return of Elias Pettersson to the line-up tonight. He was pivoting a line with Lane Pederson and Andrei Kuzmenko. Ilya Mikheyev skated by Bo Horvat and Conor Garland's side and the top-9 was completed with J.T. Miller centering Brock Boeser and Dakota Joshua. Curtis Lazar was back on the 4th line with Sheldon Dries and Nils Aman. It appeared as if Jack Studnicka would sit this one out.
On the back end, the pairings showed that Bruce may be looking at the possibility of having Schenn back with Hughes, whilst Myers and Oliver Ekman-Larsson skated together, Stillman and Burroughs closed the defensive squad in Vancouver. As surprising as it can be, Ethan Bear was the odd-man at practice.
The journalists are already asking questions about the possible pairings:
Spencer was the first netminder off the ice and is therefore expected to guard the net.
