Today marks the one year anniversary of what could end up being the turning point of this management's tenure. So far, Allvin and Rutherford have taken care of three extremely important issues for the Canucks' roster, and they've been paying pretty good.

They first managed to ink J.T. Miller to a hefty $56M deal, which at that time, didn't look like such a bargain. However, J.T. his continuously proving his detractors wrong. They then proceeded to ship the team's captain Bo Horvat to the Islanders, in a trade that eventually led to the addition of a much needed right handed defenceman in Filip Hronek.

The Canucks sent Bo Horvat and acquired Anthony Beauvilier, a 1st Rounder and Aatu Raty. From that trade came the acquisitions of Filip Hronek and Nikita Zadorov. Looking back, was it the right call to trade the captain?

Bo Horvat is on pace for a career high 77 points, while Hronek sits 3 points shy of his career high and currently paces for 60 on the year.
