It was reported earlier during the summer that the Arizona Coyotes and their star, Clayton Keller, had a discord regarding the franchise's direction.
With the uncertainty of their building, Keller had asked for a meeting with the team's higher management, and the rumours had it that they had convinced him that the future was brighter in Arizona.
Since then, various trade suggestions surfaced, sending Keller to various destinations. A recent package sent Keller to the Canucks, and it had us wondering. Would it make sense for Allvin to pursue the American? How would he fit into Tocchet's line-up? Here's the full offer:
Keller, 25, had a breakout season last year and registered 86 points in 82 games. He's signed for five more years at an extremely reasonable $7.15M cap hit.
Knowing that the Canucks have of the abundance of wingers, this has to be a package they'd be willing to give up. However, would they be receiving enough? A high-end producer would have to wonder what a Keller, Pettersson and Kuzmenko line would look like.
