Canucks trade with the Flames: Elias Lindholm deal finally concludes

The Canucks did their best to add the top pieces to their line-up in hopes of making a steep playoff run.
Allvin pulled one of the most surprising deals just a monthy from the deadline when they acquired the star centerman in Calgary,
Elias Lindholm.
Lindholm's debut with the Canucks was quite stale, but the Swede turned out to be a stud when it came to the playoffs registering 10 points through 13 playoff outings, whereas he managed 12 in 26 regular season games:
With the Canucks' season coming to an end following their game-seven loss to the Oilers, it also meant that the Canucks' trade with the Flames had officially concluded. Some conditions were to be completed only when the Canucks would fall out of Stanley Cup contention:
Draft Pick Condition Update:
The 2024 4th round pick the Vancouver #Canucks sent to Calgary #Flames as part of the Elias Lindholm trade will NOT upgrade to a 2024 3rd round pick.
Elias Lindholm is bound to hit free agency on July 1st, and the playoff run he just had will be enough to get him paid. Will it be as much as the $8M AAV he rejected from the Flames? Most likely not, but it will surely be over the $4.85M he'd been carrying for the last few years.
His stats sheet during the playoffs has been highlighted by many, and his contributions at both ends of the ice are recognized in the bunch:
Elias Lindholm this postseason:
— 5g | 5a | 10pts in 13 games
— 2nd on the team in goals
— 2nd on the team in +/- (+4)
— 51.2% on faceoffs
— Only center with more blocks and hits than him was Coyle
One of the best deadline acquisitions of the year.
With tons of players bound to hit full autonomy, they'll have difficulty keeping everyone around. Do you think that Lindholm should be amongst Allvin's top re-signing priorities?
