Vern Frick, who had been ushering at the Rogers Arena for the past few years has passed on Thursday. A beloved member of the family who loved his job within the Canucks' organization and loved sharing his passion for the game:

Vern was a beacon of kindness and warmth, always brightening the hearts of every single fan he encountered.
He graced our buildings with his lively presence as a dedicated Host for over 53 years, dating back to the very first Canucks game played on October 9, 1970 at the Pacific Coliseum.
