Bo Horvat is on his way to a career, best season. It's no news that the Canucks are looking to trade the team captain. Though the latest rumblings have mainly been concerning the team's head coach, trade chatters have increased on Horvat.
Horvat, a two-way centerman, a prolific goal scorer, in his prime (27), who's proven to be a positive impact in a locker room, should gather interest amongst the 31 other teams around the NHL. Though, not every team has the cap space to take Horvat in, or even re-sign him before he hits the market on July 1st. He's been linked to the Carolina Hurricanes, the Boston Bruins, the New Jersey Devils, and the Seattle Kraken. All teams that are looking at deep playoff runs.
Centermen like Quinton Byfield or Alex Turcotte, defensemen like Helge Grans, and Jordan Spence, or even the most recent gold-medal winner at the world juniors, Brandt Clarke. The Kings already have a centerman in the same age range as Horvat in Phillip Danault, add that to the excellent Anze Kopitar they would certainly have one of the deadliest matchups of pivots in the league.
