TRADE ALERT | Minnesota Wild make a surprising acquisition at the buzzer

The Minnesota Wild are one of the best teams in the Central Division, but had one thing hockey analysts say about them and that is how they need a good defenceman for the power play.

Today Minnesota Wild's General Manager Bill Guerin fixed that by acquiring defenceman John Klingberg from the Anaheim Ducks. The 30-year-old has 8 goals and 16 assists for 24 points in 50 games this season.

Klingberg is a pending UFA this summer, currently making $7 million. Klingberg will fill the void the Wild desperately needed to quarterback the power play and play big minutes.

There's no word of what the return is for Klingberg but if I had to guess it's most likely draft picks or a prospect to help the Ducks rebuild.
WAS THIS A GOOD MOVE FOR MINNESOTA?
