That goal had an important significance as it was Kuzmenko's 30th of the year. Kuzmenko became the first Canucks Russian player to score 30 goals since the Russian Rocket, an all-time favorite, the one and only Pavel Bure. Bure had reached that mark back in 1992, his rookie season where he managed an impressive 34 goals in 65 games.
The Canucks have definitely won their bargain in signing Kuzmenko. He recently inked a two-year extension with the team and has settled in nicely on Pettersson's side. Since the team added Anthony Beauvillier to their left, they've undoubtedly been the team's top line. Beauvillier has 13 points through 15 games since joining the Nucks.
