CRAZY | Connor Bedard's mom reveals a crazy habit about the NHL's next phenom
There is no debate up to this point about who will be the first player to walk the stage when comes the draft day. Connor Bedard has been so good that he's made himself the clear number-one selection.
Without a doubt, to reach a certain level of competitiveness, skill, and conditioning there are lots of things you have to sacrifice. Even though he has the skills to be the next generational talent, it comes with a load of sacrifices and commitment to actually succeed and dominate the world's top level of the game.
Connor's mom, Melanie, made quite the revelation in that regard:
"He's never had fast food... He will at some point, but he hasn't eaten at McDonald's or anything yet. I think we all know when you eat well, how you feel, and then when we kind of go off the rails. He's aware of that feeling."
It's crazy to think that a 17-year-old would never have had fast-food prior to this day. It really shows the extent of his commitment to his ultimate goal. It sure stands high in the long list of reasons as to why he's meant to be the next big thing in the NHL. I'm sure it's one of the reason
