LATEST | Young six foot six Flames forward placed on waivers: Potential option for Allvin?
The waiver wire on Wednesday afternoon featured a pair of Calgary Flames players were placed on it, including a young forward who could be a potential option for the Vancouver Canucks.
According to TSN's Chris Johnston, Flames forward Adam Ruzicka, along with defenceman Nick DeSimone, were placed on waivers today for the purpose of being assigned to the American Hockey League's Calgary Wranglers.
Placed on NHL waivers today: Nick DeSimone (CGY) and Adam Ruzicka (CGY)." Johnston said.
Ruzicka, 24, has appeared in 39 games for the Flames this season where he's put up nine points (three goals, six assists), six penalty minutes and is a minus-eight.
DeSimone, 29, has recorded five points (one goal, four assists) in 23 games for the Flames and has also put up eight points in ten games for their American Hockey League affiliate.
