LATEST | Bedard signs new contract
While rookie sensation Connor Bedard can't sign a big ticket deal for another two seasons, the 18 year old Vancouver native is finding a way to cash cheques in the meantime.
Connor Bedard has been one of the NHL's poster boys since before he was even drafted last June, and the youngster has already leveraged his star power into multiple endorsement deals.
On Monday afternoon, Bedard announced via his Instagram that he was partnering with CIBC bank.
Bedard said he was excited for this next off-ice step in his career.
Happy to be part of the team that's been there throughout my journey so far. Excited for this next step on and off the ice,
Bedard posted.
The rookie scoring leader has signed deals with multiple brands early in his career, including Biosteel, Hyundai, and a massive exclusive equipment partnership with Sherwood Hockey signed before he ever played an NHL game.
The new partnership with CIBC will almost assuredly not be the last in a long list of endorsement deals for the NHL's wonder-kid.
