Gustavsson, 25, was set to head to arbitration later this week with the Wild, but was able to come to an agreement on a fair deal for both himself and Minnesota, who are bit tight to the cap heading into the 2023-24 season.
The Skelleftea, Sweden native was traded to Minnesota last summer from the Ottawa Senators and had a strong season in the 'State of Hockey'. In 39 games last season, Gustavsson had a record of 22-9-7 along with a 2.10 goals against average, a .931 save percentage and two shutouts.
