LATEST | Penguins' asking price for Jake Guentzel revealed
Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jake Guentzel is expected to be one of the top forwards available ahead of the trade deadline, with several teams already interested in the seven-time 20+ goal scorer.
The Vancouver Canucks were one of the teams interested ,before making the Elias Lindholm deal, and now we know what the asking price may be for Jake Guentzel.
During the most recent edition of the '32 Thoughts podcast', Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman shared that Penguins General Manager Kyle Dubas is looking for a package similar to what the Flyers got a couple of years ago from Florida for Claude Giroux.
"Dubas is sitting there, he's saying, look, if you want Guentzel, I want the Giroux deal" Friedman said.
The Flyers got a first-round pick, a third-round pick and forward Owen Tippett for Giroux and there's a very good chance that Dubas could get that before March 8th for Jake Guentzel.
