"Right in the Muellhouse!

Congrats to Maverick forward Ty Mueller on being nominated for the 2024 Hobey Baker Award!"

Mueller, 20, is in his third season with the University of Nebraska-Omaha and is their best player thus far. In 22 games, the Cochrane, Alberta native has 19 points (eight goals, 11 assists), ten penalty minutes and is a plus-two. His eight goals and 19 points have him first on University of Nebraska-Omaha's roster in both categories.

After being passed over in two drafts, the Vancouver Canucks decided to selected him with the 105th overall pick in 2023 after he put up 25 points in 34 games during the 2022-23 campaign.
