LATEST | Conor Garland: The Canucks' Brad Marchand: Players vote shows how much he's despised
On Wednesday, The Athletic released the results of their annual player poll, where they ask players from around the National Hockey League questions about various different topics.
Vancouver Canucks forward Conor Garland found himself on one of the player poll lists for the wrong reasons and that was - 'Who's the player in the league whose face you want to punch?'
Nick Cousins of the Florida Panthers leads the way with a whopping 28.57% of the vote, with Brad Marchand (14.97%), Matthew Tkachuk (7.48%) are both inside the top-five.
Coming in tied for fifth with Carolina's Michael Bunting is Canuck forward Conor Garland, who received 4.08% of the vote, more than other players such as Nazem Kadri, Brady Tkachuk and Ryan Lomberg.
While Garland does play a gritty game and likes to get under the skin of players around the league, it's a little bit of a surprise to see him this high in the poll, ahead of players mentioned above such as Brady Tkachuk.
