Four trade targets identified the filled the Canucks' last need
We're just over a month away from the National Hockey League's trade deadline for the 2023-24 season, and it's going to get very busy quite quickly, with rumours and more players being linked with moves to different teams.
The Vancouver Canucks finally pulled the trigger on a deal that led to them acquiring the Swede Elias Lindholm. The latest indication, however, suggests that they aren't done with their shopping just yet.
In an article on The Athletic on Wednesday, Harman Dayal and Thomas Drance identified four rental defencemen that Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin could target before the deadline on March 8th. Let's take a look at those ten players.
Defencemen
Chris Tanev (Calgary) - 46 GP - 1 G - 8 A - 9 PTS.
Ilya Lyubushkin (Anaheim) - 46 GP - 0 G - 4 A - 4 PTS.
Sean Walker (Philadelphia) - 50 GP - 5 G - 12 A - 17 PTS.
Alexandre Carrier (Nashville) - 46 GP - 4 G - 10 A - 14 PTS.
There are going to be plenty of options out there for Patrik Allvin and the Canucks are expected to be one of the busier teams ahead of March 8th, so it'll be interesting to see which direction they decide to go.
