Vancouver Canucks forward Andrei Kuzmenko has had a disappointing season to say the least following a 39-goal freshman campaign. He has just 11 goals and 19 points through 32 games, while serving as a healthy scratch on multiple occasions.

He found himself a healthy scratch yet again against the Blues on Thursday, and reports suggest that his agent, Dan Milstein, has been extremely communicative with the Canucks as of late regarding his disgruntled client:

Canucks reporter Rick Dhaliwal does not appear optimistic concerning Kuzmenko and his current situation with the club.

I don't see how [his situation] is going to get any better if Kuzmenko is not going to play the way Tocchet wants him to play.

Nearly halfway into his second NHL season, Kuzmenko finds himself in a tricky situation on the Canucks roster as the team looks for their first playoff birth since 2020. Time will tell if Kuzmenko can find his way out of his sophomore slump, or if he may find his way out of Vancouver instead.
