Vancouver Canucks Head Coach Adam Foote has given an update regarding forward Teddy Blueger's injury and his availability for the team's upcoming road trip.

After falling to the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday night, the Vancouver Canucks are now back under the .500 mark and went 1-2-1 on their homestand, something that won't sit well with the team's coaching staff or any of the players.
While it's easy to use injuries as an excuse for where Vancouver is in the National Hockey League's standings right now, it has played a big role, especially when considering who is on the sidelines right now - Filip Chytil, Jonathan Lekkerimaki, Victor Mancini, Derek Forbort, Teddy Blueger and as of last night, Thatcher Demko too.
The Canucks are hopeful that they'll be able to get some of their injured players back in the near future including Teddy Blueger, who was placed on IR late last month and hasn't played since October 19th against the Washington Capitals and this week, Adam Foote gave an update on the Latvian's status ahead of their three-game road trip where they'll face Carolina, Tampa Bay and Florida.

When speaking with reporters after last night's loss to the Winnipeg Jets, Head Coach Adam Foote shared that Teddy Blueger may accompany the team on their upcoming road trip and even if he does, it's unlikely that he'll suit up in any of the three games.
Blueger, a native of Riga, Latvia, returned to the ice last week for the first time since suffering that lower-body injury on October 19th, but still needs to get into a few practices in a non-contact sweater before he can be cleared by the team's training staff, which has been difficult due to how condensed the Canucks' schedule has been.
"Conor Garland returns for the #Canucks tonight. Kevin Lankinen starts. Teddy Blueger and Jonathan Lekkerimäki are expected to be non-contact participants in practice soon." Brendan Batchelor said last week.

With Teddy Blueger unlikely to play on the road trip, the next possible date fans could see the 31-year-old back in action is Thursday, November 20th when the Canucks host the Dallas Stars at Rogers Arena.
