Announcement Sheds Light on Vancouver Canucks Games Not Being Shown on TV Next Season

A recent announcement made on Wednesday morning revealed that some Vancouver Canucks games won't be shown on television during the 2025-26 season.
There are plenty of noteworthy games on Vancouver's schedule next year including the returns of
J.T. Miller,
Pius Suter and
Dakota Joshua, along with the usual rivalry games against Edmonton and Seattle.
For the final year of Rogers' current deal with the National Hockey League and their second season on air, Amazon Prime Video is back with Monday Night Hockey, showcasing at least one Canadian team to start off the week throughout the 2025-26 campaign and it looks like the Vancouver Canucks will be featured several times.
Four Vancouver Canucks games won't be on television during 2025-26 season
On Wednesday morning, Amazon Prime Video released their schedule for the 2025-26 season, which begins with a Canadian Thanksgiving doubleheader on October 13th.
This season, Vancouver will be shown on a handful of occasions by Amazon Prime Video and while their broadcasts were top notch last year, for fans that aren't subscribed, it means they will have to sign up or else they'll miss out on watching the Canucks four times during the 2025-26 campaign.
Vancouver's first game on Monday Night Hockey this coming season will be on the aforementioned Canadian Thanksgiving doubleheader when they welcome Pius Suter and the St. Louis Blues to town for a 4:30 pm PT puck drop.
Their next appearance on Amazon Prime Video will come three days before Christmas - December 22nd - when they head to Philadelphia to face their former Head Coach Rick Tocchet for the first time
since he departed the organization back in April.
The Canucks' third Monday Night Hockey game in the 2025-26 season will see the club head to the Bell Centre in Montreal on January 12th for an all-Canadian clash with the Canadiens.
A little less than two months later, the Canucks will host their final Monday Night Hockey broadcast of the season and it'll be another all-Canadian matchup with the Ottawa Senators making their lone trip to Vancouver.
"LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN.
See you for Season 2 of #NHLonPrime starting Oct. 13."
With less than two months until training camp opens and 60 days to go until their first game of the preseason, Vancouver Canucks fans are counting down the days until they get to see their favourite club back in action.
