Forward Brock Boeser expressed his frustration following Thursday's loss to the Buffalo Sabres as the Vancouver Canucks have hit rock bottom in the NHL.
The Vancouver Canucks wrapped up a four-game homestand on Thursday night as they as they welcomed the Buffalo Sabres to town and with it being the club's final game at Rogers Arena before Christmas, they wanted to give the fans something to cheer about.
However, after the Vancouver Canucks recorded their worst 30-game start in five years, the club picked up another loss, falling to the Sabres by a score of 3-2, with Rogers Arena looking quite empty and one fan expressing their displeasure by throwing their jersey onto the ice.
"Hey, at least it's harder to see empty seats with the new black look!" Daily Hive's Trevor Beggs said.
"There it is.. first jersey on the ice this season" Lina Setaghian of Sportsnet 650 said.

Thursday's loss to the Buffalo Sabres put the Vancouver Canucks in a deeper hole in the league standings, with Adam Foote's squad remaining in dead last and three points back of the Calgary Flames for 31st.
After the game, Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser spoke about his frustration amid the team's struggles this season and where things have gone wrong for the club.
"I think this is different. I don't know. This feeling has been a little different than in the past. I feel like there's games we're playing pretty well and out chancing teams and stuff, and we're on the wrong side of things. I think it just comes down to doing the little things right. I think you always have to go back on that, and we have to be harder to play against. And the little details of the hockey game, you have to make sure you're dialed in at all times. And I think there's times where we get away from those details, and the puck ends up in our net. And I definitely think that's a big issue." Boeser said according to Adam Kierszenblat of The Hockey News.
Unfortunately for the Canucks, even though we're 31 games into the season and there's still 51 to go, time is running out on their chances to make it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs and based on rumors around the league over the last few weeks, this club is about to go through some big changes between now and the trade deadline on Friday, March 6th.
