Canuck ticket prices quietly falling

The Vancouver Canucks may be quietly cutting the price of tickets after significantly raising them this summer.
While the Canucks had a great season in 2023-24, they may have overestimated how much fans are willing to pay to come to a game, as prices for games have started to fall on Ticketmaster.
The team hiked up the cost of tickets significantly, but as pointed out by the Daily Hive, that seems to have turned off a number of fans.
The cheapest tickets to the team's home opener were nearly $250 in the summer, but now the cheapest options fallen over $100 to $130.
Fans could often find tickets for less than $100 last season, and while the team certainly took a step and expectations are higher this season, it seems that's not enough for fans to swallow the exorbitant prices initially shared.
Tickets are now nearly sold out, but still significantly cheaper than they were listed back in July.
The Canucks offer 6 different price tiers, and at the beginning of the season even the lowest tier of tickets were seen to be listed at more than $100.
Those too have dropped to more affordable prices, along with more sought after games like those against the Leafs - although those will still cost a fair chunk.
At a time when many people have less money to spend, the Canucks may be learning they're not an exception.
