Canucks Deliver a Heartfelt Message as the City of Vancouver is Struck by a Horrific Incident

In one of the cities worst tragedies, Vancouver has been struck by a horrific attack on late Saturday night leaving multiple casualties and injuries.
In what is now being called a «mass casualty incident» by the local police, multiple people have passed away, including many injuries after a driver drove their car in a crowd of people attending a street festival.
It was reported that just after 8:00 pm, the driver purposefully «drove into a crowd» at East 41st Avenue and Fraser Stree.
The Filipino community's Lapu Lapu Day festival was underway at the time in the South Vancouver neighbourhood.
The driver who drove and crashed the black S.U.V was arrested on scene according to the authorities.
A video was posted on social media that depicted the horrific scene of this attackers senseless act, showing multiple victims and debris thrown across the road.
There was least 7 people laying motionless in the ground with clear injuries.
As of right now, the exact number of casualties and injuries are not yet known.

Vancouver Canucks release heartbreaking message to the victims of the Lapu Lapu attack
The Vancouver Canucks organization also followed suit with a heartbreaking message of their own to those who lost their lives.
We are heartbroken by the tragie events that occurred tonight at the Lapu Lapu Day celebration.
Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and everyone impacted, including Vancouver's Filipino community. We extend our deepest condolences and support during this unimaginably difficult time.
