Today, the Abbotsford Canucks announced via a statement that the 23-year-old and his partner had given birth to their first child: Congratulations to Tristen Nielsen and his partner Sarah, who announced the birth of their beautiful baby girl, Taytum, today! 💕

After he collected 41 points through 64 AHL games in 2022-2023, Nielsen was rewarded with an NHL deal. This season, the energetic forward collected 19 points through his first 31 games. Although he may not be getting an NHL call-up this year, his constant progression could set him up to a surprise at next year's training camp.
