LATEST | Canucks make an announcement regarding Dakota Joshua
The Canucks' power forward, Dakota Joshua, has been out of commission for quite some time now with what appears to be a hand injury.
The full details have not been revealed, but he's been on the Long-Term Injury reserve and hasn't played since he registered a Gordie Howe Hat Trick on February 13th against the Blackhawks. After various setbacks, everything points to Joshua being as close as he's been to a return. The Canucks finally announced that he had made it back to the ice in a non-contact jersey:
Welcome back, Dak! 🙌

Prior to getting injured, Joshua was an important contributor to the team's success, scoring 26 points in 53 games.
As he nears a return, Rick Tocchet is preparing to face hard decisions regarding his lineup. Will Vasily Podkolzin be the odd man out despite his excellent play? Where will Joshua fit into the lineup when he returns? There are still lots of questions, but it's definitely positive to add another healthy body to the lineup with the playoffs just around the corner.
