We're less than two years away from seeing the return of National Hockey League players to the Winter Olympics and it's set to be held in Milan-Cortina, Italy.

With the event set to begin in just under 24 months, several media outlets have begun to share their roster predictions for the big nations like Canada, the United States, Sweden and Finland.

On Wednesday, the NHL Network shared their roster prediction for the United States and it features FOUR members of the Vancouver Canucks - Forwards Brock Boeser and J.T. Miller, Defenceman Quinn Hughes, and Goaltender Thatcher Demko.

All four of the Canucks mentioned have experience on the international level. Demko and Hughes have represented the United States on the senior men's level before at the IIHF World Championship, while J.T. Miller played for Team North America at the 2016 World Cup of Hockey. As for Brock Boeser, he's played for his country in the junior ranks, with the last appearance being at the 2016 World Juniors.

"Is this Team USA coming home with an Olympic gold medal? 🧐🥇"

On paper, this would be the best roster the United States has assembled in a very long time, as they look to win their first gold medal at the Winter Olympics since 1980 in Lake Placid, which is remember as 'Miracle on Ice'.

As of now, the United States is set to be in Group C at the 2026 Winter Olympics alongside Russia and two qualifiers, who will be determined in early September. Given Russia's current ban by the IIHF, it's unlikely that they'll be allowed to participate at the 2026 Winter Olympics and these groups will be adjusted.
