LATEST | Rick Tocchet confirms his line-up: The verdict is in for Ian Cole and Elias Lindholm
If it ain't broken, don't fix it, is the vibe surrounding the Vancouver Canucks over the last several days and tonight, they're set to host the Calgary Flames on Hockey Night in Canada.
When meeting with the media on Saturday morning, Vancouver Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet told reporters that he will be using the same lineup during their win on Thursday against the Montreal Canadiens.
This means that veteran defenceman Ian Cole, who was skating on Thursday outside the top-six at practice, will be a healthy scratch for the second consecutive game.
"Rick Tocchet says the #Canucks will ice the same lineup from Thursday's win vs. Montreal against the Flames tonight, so Ian Cole will miss a second straight game. @Sportsnet650" Brendan Batchelor said in a post on X.
Here are the projected lines for tonight's game against Andrei Kuzmenko and the Calgary Flames:
Höglander. Pettersson. Garland.
Suter. Miller. Boeser.
Mikheyev. Lindholm. Lafferty.
Podkolzin. Blueger. man.
Hughes. Hronek.
Soucy. Myers.
Zadorov. Juulsen.
DeSmith.
Silovs.
Cole, 35, has put up nine points (two goals, seven assists), 57 penalty minutes and is a plus-12 in 68 games for Vancouver this season. He's set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st.
