The Abbotsford Canucks, American Hockey League affiliate for Vancouver, have made a statement, celebrating Swedish defenceman Filip Johansson.
Johansson, a native of Vasteras, Sweden, is celebrating his birthday today and is turning 24-years-old and will get to face the Manitoba Moose this afternoon at 12 p.m. PT/2 p.m. CT.

Johansson joined the Vancouver Canucks organization as a free agent in June 2022 after the Minnesota Wild, who selected him 24th overall in 2018, decided not to offer him an entry-level contract before his signing rights expired.
In his first full season with the Abbotsford Canucks in 2023-24, Johansson has 16 points (five goals, 11 assists), eight penalty minutes and is a plus-eight.
From everyone here at Canucks Daily, we'd like to wish Filip Johansson a Happy Birthday!
