LATEST | Rick Tocchet makes a concerning statement on Elias Lindholm: Playing through an injury?
Everybody is well aware of the fact that the Canucks latest acquisition Elias Lindholm has had a hard time adjusting to the Canucks' reality. The Canucks paid a hefty price back in early February to acquire the Flames' star centerman; while he's been as advertised defensively, the offensive production has yet to meet the expectations.
TOCCHET BOTHERED BY HIS LACK OF PRODUCTION?
Lindholm was questioned earlier this week and pointed out what he needed to improve to prove his worth.
During today's media availability, the team's head coach was asked about the Canucks' 23 struggles, and he dropped concerning information in that regard. Tocchet acknowledged the fact that Lindholm had been struggling since he joined the Canucks. However, he added that he was banged up and playing through something, hinting at a possible injury.

SHOULD THE CANUCKS GIVE LINDHOLM A MAINTENANCE BREAK?
The Canucks will have Ian Cole sitting à game to recover, even though he could've played. If Lindholm is indeed playing through something, should the Canucks give him time to heal? Or should they keep him in the line-up to help the team secure the Division and Conference Championship?
Lindholm had nine tallies and 32 points through 49 games when he joined the Canucks. Since then, he's only managed a meagre 4 goals and 7 points through 20 games. He's currently on pace for his worst offensive total since 2017-2018, when he had 44 points.
