The Vancouver Canucks' NHL season has been tormented by injuries, now Marco Rossi and Connor Garland are both on that list, as they sustained injuries against the Philadelphia Flyers, and will be out for at least a week.

The Canucks have had too many injuries to count, and even though they have a lack of depth, the injuries have really hurt their record this season.
"There's still no timeline for Filip Chytil's return to the Vancouver Canucks' lineup, but hopefully he'll be able to return to game action at some point in the New Year, potentially well before the National Hockey League's Olympic break."-Jaxon

Vancouver Canucks continue injury riddled season.

It has been announced on New Year's Day that the Canucks will be without Rossi and Garland for minimum one week, Rossi sustained a lower body injury, and Garland is still undisclosed.

Foote: Marco Rossi's injury is a lower body injury.
Also says the #Canucks will need to call up a forward from Abbotsford as a result of the injuries to Rossi & Garland.

It's not the first time Garland has been injured this year, he hasn't been able to get into a solid rhythm constantly battling injuries all season. And with Quinn Hughes being traded, the team really needs his leadership, especially through times of struggle. Rossi was also injured earlier this season when he was with the Minnesota Wild, so it's becoming concerning with both of them how prone to injury they are.
Rossi is meant to be a big piece of the Canucks' future, and if he is constantly battling injuries, then the trade is going to start to look really poor for the Canucks. Hopefully both of them can return and finish the season out strong.
