NHL issues a statement on Canucks forward Brock Boeser
Alongside J.T. Miller, Brock Boeser has been the Canucks' biggest threat when it comes to scoring during the first round to the Predators.
His three-goal performance during the team's improbable comeback helped a lot, and his recent performances have placed him in a position to mark the franchise's history again. The Canucks' goalscoring number 6 could've joined Bo Horvat, Pavel Bure and Geoff Courtnall as the fifth Canuck to score five goals in three games:
Brock Boeser needs one goal to become the fifth player in Canucks postseason history to score five over a three-game span. He would join Bo Horvat (2020), Ryan Kesler (2011),
Pavel Bure (1994) and Geoff Courtnall (1992).
The Canucks have lost game five without getting Boeser on the board, but he'll have the opportunity during game six to achieve the deed. Two goals in the following games would seal the deal.
